Delivering Climate Education and Collaborations
Climate change and pollution are impacting Arkansans where we live and and where we work. What can we do about it? We educate and collaborate. The League is participating in Arkansas coalitions promoting awareness and action on clean energy, energy efficiency and environmental justice.
Your donation powers these 2022 League actions:
- Hosting a 10/20 clean energy conference in association with the UAFS Colleges of Arts and Sciences & Business and Industry, as well as the UAFS Center for Economic Development.
- Participating in the Natural State Energy Coalition encouraging municipalities to take advantage of clean energy and climate-smart opportunities.
- Working with the Citizens' First Congress to educate Arkansans about climate risks and clean energy policy possibilities.
- Supporting local Dumas, AR, organizers in realizing the creation of a community park where kids can run and play.
